About Marina South
Marina South is reclaimed land, built up from the 1970s onwards. For many years it was mostly empty.
Gardens by the Bay opened in 2012, and the Marina Bay Cruise Centre opened the same year.
URA plans to turn the rest of Marina South into a new residential neighbourhood. Its first sites are being released and the first condos are still to come.
