Why a central Singapore marble team

Central Singapore has more marble than anywhere else on the island. Condos in River Valley, Tanglin, Newton, Orchard and Bukit Timah were very often handed over with marble living rooms and bathrooms, and older homes in Toa Payoh, Queenstown and Marine Parade have crazy-paving marble chips. Of the 301 condos on this site, 84 were completed before 2000.

Old marble that has lost its shine needs grinding and honing; newer high-gloss marble mostly needs etch and stain repair. Because all our jobs are in the central region, we know these floors and the condo rules well and spend less time on the road.

Frequently asked questions

Which areas do you cover?

All 22 planning areas of Singapore's Central Region: Toa Payoh, Bishan, Queenstown, Bukit Merah, Kallang, Geylang, Marine Parade, Novena, Bukit Timah, Tanglin, Newton, River Valley, Orchard, Museum, Rochor, Outram, Singapore River, Downtown Core, Southern Islands, Marina South, Marina East and Straits View.

How much does marble polishing cost?

Marble floor polishing starts from $1 per sq ft with a minimum charge of $350. A condo unit of about 1,000 sq ft starts from $1,000. Stain, etch, vanity top, wall and regrouting work is quoted from photos.

How long does it take?

A single room or bathroom floor takes half a day to a day. A 1,000 sq ft condo unit takes 2 to 3 days. You can walk on each area once it's dry.

Do you work in condos with strict renovation rules?

Yes. Most central condos need a renovation notice, lift booking and set working hours. Send us the rules and we'll provide the documents management asks for.

Is marble polishing dusty?

No. It's a wet process, so there's slurry instead of dust. We sheet off walls, cabinets and doorways and clean up every day.

What's the difference between an etch and a stain?

An etch is a dull, lighter mark from acid, fixed by honing and polishing. A stain is a darker mark from something soaking in, fixed with a poultice. Red wine usually leaves both.

Want your marble shining again?

Send 3 or 4 photos of your marble on WhatsApp and get a price, usually the same day.
