Marble Polishing Day by Day: What to Expect

Before we arrive

• Move small items, rugs and fragile things out of the rooms.
• Tell us if you need help moving large furniture.
• Get the condo renovation notice and lift booking sorted.
• Let us know about cracked, hollow or stained areas you've noticed.

A typical 1,000 sq ft condo unit

1. Day 1 morning: protect walls, cabinets and doorways with plastic sheeting and tape. Fill chips and cracks.
2. Day 1 afternoon: grinding of uneven tiles if needed, then honing in the bedrooms.
3. Day 2: honing and polishing the living, dining and corridor areas; hand work on edges and corners.
4. Day 3: final polish, sealing, clean-up and inspection together.

After we finish

Noise and working hours

Polishing machines are noisy, so we follow your condo's renovation hours and HDB rules for noisy work. We don't work on Sundays or public holidays unless your management allows it.
